The pressure leaf filter, also known as the leaf filter, is a high-efficiency, energy-saving, closed-operation precision clarification and filtration equipment. The product has a unique design structure, high filtration efficiency, and good filtrate transparency and clarity. No filter paper, filter cloth or filter element is consumed, only a small amount of filter aid is consumed, the filtration cost is low, and the equipment is easy to operate and maintain. The equipment can be customized for manual slag discharge and automatic slag discharge, and the filtering area ranges from 2 square meters to 100 square meters. According to the process requirements of filtration, the airtight container has two materials of carbon steel and stainless steel for users to choose.

The closed plate filter is mainly composed of a complete filtering system consisting of a filter host, a delivery pump, pipelines, valves and other auxiliary equipment. The filter host is composed of filter tank, filter screen, cover lifting mechanism, automatic slag removal device, etc.
The vertical pressure leaf filter uses a specially customized, corrosion-resistant stainless steel composite woven filter screen rather than consumable filter paper or filter cloth. This screen traps solid impurities and has a long continuous service life of 3 to 5 years, drastically reducing consumable costs and maintenance downtime.
The equipment features an automated mechanical vibration slag removal device. Once the filtration cycle is complete and the filter cake is blown dry with compressed air, the operator simply opens the butterfly valve and starts the vibrator. The vibration shakes the filter cake off the stainless steel blades, allowing it to drop cleanly through the bottom discharge port, which significantly reduces manual labor.
Before primary filtration begins, a filter aid (such as diatomaceous earth) is mixed with liquid in a mixing tank and circulated through the system. This mixture coats the stainless steel filter screen blades, forming a stable "pre-coat" filter cake layer. Once this layer is established, the actual material is pumped through; the microscopic channels of the filter aid effectively trap suspended impurities while allowing the clear filtrate to flow out.
The filter can be customized with a filtration area ranging from 2 to 200 square meters. Depending on the specific model (from YWBL-2 to YWBL-80), the equipment can handle maximum flow rates ranging from 1 up to 800 tons per hour. The system operates safely at standard working pressures between 0.1 and 0.4 MPa and provides a filtration precision of 10 to 200 μm.
Because it is a fully closed and environmentally friendly system, it is highly versatile. It is widely used in the food and beverage industry (clarifying syrups, juices, alcohol, and edible oils), the chemical industry (filtering catalysts and petrochemical separations), and the environmental protection sector (purifying river water, sewage treatment supernatant, and recycled swimming pool water).
