According to the different outflow modes of filtrate, filter press can be divided into open flow and closed flow.
Open flow filtration means that the filtered clear liquid does not flow out through the outlet, but directly flows out from the water nozzle on each filter plate.
Open flow filtration is intuitive, and it is easy to find whether a piece of filter cloth is damaged. If a piece of filter cloth is found during filtration ,the filter cloth is damaged (usually showing mixed liquid), as long as the nozzle is closed, the filter can continue until the working cycle is over. Then replace or repair the filter cloth.
Closed flow refers to the filtered clear liquid flowing out through the outlet and then directly discharged to the predetermined place through the pipeline connected with the outlet.
Closed flow is used for filtration of volatile, toxic, pungent or corrosive materials that are not allowed to be exposed.
Above two types filtrate of filter press are common, customer can choose which one is suitable regarding.
